About Smith and Associates, aTTORNEYS AT LAW

Smith and Associates, Attorneys at Law was founded by C. Lamont Smith, a Colorado-licensed attorney with more than 40 years of experience in the practice of law. The firm provides knowledgeable and personalized legal representation in the areas of healthcare law, personal injury, contract disputes, and contract negotiations.

Prior to founding the firm, Mr. Smith served as an associate attorney at Faegre & Benson, where he worked alongside senior partners on complex healthcare matters, including medical staff privileges, peer review, and medical malpractice issues. During his time with the firm, he also had the opportunity to work on matters involving COPIC Insurance Company.

Mr. Smith has further contributed to the healthcare and legal community through his service as a public member of the Colorado Medical Board, where he participated in the review and evaluation of standard-of-care and licensing matters involving physicians and patients.

At Smith and Associates, we understand that every legal matter is unique. Our firm is committed to providing clients with the personal attention and hands-on representation of a boutique practice, while also offering access to the resources and capabilities needed to handle complex legal matters. When appropriate, we collaborate with experienced outside counsel on large and complex litigation, allowing us to provide our clients with the best of both worlds: personalized service backed by broad legal resources and experience.

Our commitment is to deliver thoughtful, experienced, and client-focused legal representation while pursuing the best possible outcome for every client.
